WHO WE ARE
The unity in community.
Our History
We began the foundation with the idea that the community needed a place to come and support, nurture and grow together.
Milstones:
December 2015 – Computer classes to the 55+ community
March 2016 – Partner Metris Batts-Coley - Entrepreneurship Workshop, teaching the community the process of starting and running one's own business.
May 2016 – Shipping of Food and Clothing to families in Venezuela
June 2016 - Working in partnership with the Pinnacle Professional Consultants teaching consumers on how to restore and building better credit.
Our Vision
Our Vision is to create a place of help for the families in need in the communities we serve. This will be done by developing programs that teach, train, and restore families to achieve their full potential in life and career. We will work with diverse partners to enrich and strengthen career services to integrate career, community, economic and workforce development.
Our vision will be accomplished by providing educational and motivational workshops that specialize in various areas of need. They will be conducted by members of the professional and educational community. We will also work to assist with the transition of older workers to alternative avenues for work, education and/or community engagement.
Our Mission
The Mission of Love to Help Foundation is to develop programs that are dedicated to improving South Florida communities by assisting and teaching those with disabilities to be self-sufficient, training the unemployed to be productive citizens, and meeting the needs of low-income families.
North Miami Beach Lifetime Achievement Award
Our most humbled and sincere thanks to Commissioner Fortuna Smukler for recognizing and honoring our Founder & CEO, Belkis Batsheva Pimentel, with the 2021 North Miami Beach Lifetime Achievement Award.
Humbled and Honored
On September 21, 2022, the City of North Miami Beach honored the Love To Help Foundation by presenting the Key To The City. We enjoy what we do and strive to continue helping our community with food and services. None of this would be possible without the support from our volunteer staff, our friends, our family, and the community.
Our Team
It's been said, "It’s not the team with the best players that win, it’s the players with the best team…” That’s the truth! Meet our team members who work unselfishly each week to help our community thrive. From left to right: Marisol, Michelle, Belkis, Catalina, Karen, and Sandra.
